Rent a Car Terms & Conditions

Age of Driver: The minimum age of the driver is 23 years old for categories economy, Α and Β and 25 years old for all other categories. The maximum age for all drivers is 72 years old.

Driver’s License: The driver(s) must be a holder(s) of a driver’s license for at least a year, which has been issued in a member country of the European Union. Non - European Union nationals from countries, such as the U.S.A., Canada and Australia, must have an international driver’s license.

Minimum Car Rental Period: Five days.

Car Rental Insurance:
The rent a car rates include the following coverage:

• Collision Damage Waiver with theft and fire insurance.
• Death, partial or total disability of third parties and of the passengers of the car up to € 500.000.
• Material damage of third parties, up to € 100.000.
• Personal Accident insurance for driver and all passengers.
• Unlimited km, all local taxes and VAT.

Loss or breakage of the key, tires, wheels, car underside, windscreens, windows, mirrors, lights, and the interior of the car are not covered by the insurance.

Collision Damage Waiver: Included in the price of the rental, and carries an excess of 450 euros for groups A and B, 550 euros for groups C, D and J and 750 euros for all other groups.

Super Collision Damage Waiver: Optional insurance payable locally and reduce the excess payment for each group to ZERO (NO EXCESS) in case of accident, as long as there is adherence to Greek traffic laws and a police report is provided in the event of an accident.

Ferry Coverage: Available and payable locally and covers the renter on all ferry crossings from / to Kefalonia. It is forbidden to transport the car by boat without previously obtaining a written permission from the company.

Age Coverage: Available and payable locally and covers drivers above and below the stated age limit to drive.

Additional Drivers: Available and payable locally for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th driver, as long as he/she is within the age limits and fulfils all driver licence conditions. Daily charge of 2 euro plus VAT.

Personal Belongings: The company is not responsible in any way for the personal belongings of the renter or passengers.

Gasoline: We use only unleaded gasoline, which is the responsibility of the renter. No refunds are given for excess fuel left in the vehicle. Refuelling service charge is € 10.

Children’s Seats: Provided upon reservation, with an additional charge of € 3 + vat per day. It is the customer’s responsibility to properly attach child seats.

Luggage Racks & Snow Chains: Not provided.

Rental Car Brands & Models: All bookings are made by car category and not by car type or model. Baggage placement is customer’s responsibility. Our company cannot be held liable for damage to baggage during transport.

Taxes & VAT 23%: Included in the rental price.

Traffic Violations - Fines: All fines from illegal parking and violations of the traffic code that may occur during the rental period, are the renters’ responsibility and will be charged to their credit card.
