1. Death or injury to third parties up to € 500.000 .
2. Material damage to third parties up to € 100.000 , excluding Cbr Rent a Car Kefalonia vehicles
3. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (C.D.W): the renter is responsible for damage to his rental car up to a maximum of € 300 for categories A to D and € 500 for categories E and F . These terms apply provided the damage is not due to violations of the Greek Traffic Law.
4. TIRE INSURANCE : Punctured or unrepaired tires will be replaced on all rental cars free of charge. This insurance is only available from Cbr Rent a Car Kefalonia (tire insurance does not apply if the vehicle is driven with a flat tire).
5. FIRE AND THEFT
6. SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (S.C.D.W): this extra insurance covers any damage to the rental car in total and also provides insurance for the wheels and the underside of the vehicle. This is provided at an extra charge of € 20 per day for categories A to D and € 30 per day for categories E and F. S.C.D.W. applies only if the Greek Traffic Law has not been violated.
- Insurance coverage is valid only on the island of Kefalonia
- All traffic fines are the responsibility of the renter
- The petrol (unleaded only) is paid by the renter
- Bookings are made according to category and not by car type
7. Insurance is not valid and the renter is responsible for damages in the following cases:
- The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- The car is driven on paved roads (apart from four-wheel drive vehicles)
- The car is driven with a flat tire
- The driver participates in extemporary car races or drives recklessly
- The driver exceeds the speed limit
- The driver uses other fuel than the type recommended by the manufacturer
- The car is driven by non-authorized persons
- The car is not returned on the date and time agreed upon in the rental contract
