Full Comprehensive Insurance Cover With No Excess
1 Age of Driver:
The minimum age of the driver is 23 years old for categories economy, Α and Β and 25 years old for all other categories. The maximum age for all drivers is 72 years old.
2 Driver’ s License: The driver(s) must be a holder(s) of a driver’s license for at least a year, which has been issued in a member country of the European Union. Non - European Union nationals from countries, such as the U.S.A., Canada and Australia, must have an international driver’s license.
3 Minimum Car Rental Period:
Five days.
4 Car Rental Insurance:
The rent a car price includes the following coverage:
- Death, partial or total disability of third parties and of the passengers of the car, up to € 500.000.
- Material damage of third parties, up to € 100.000.
- Fire insurance.
- The renter is responsible for the purchase price of the car minus 20% in case of damage to the rental car.
- Theft insurance ( the renter is responsible for 50% of the value of the car, unless the renter has taken CDW coverage.
- Damage to the tyres, wheel rims, under part of the car, gear box, clutch, car interior, and loss or breakage of the car key, are not covered by any insurance.
5 Collision Damage Waiver: included in the price of the rental, reduces the liability of the renter, according to paragraph 4, to a maximum of € 300 for categories 0, Α and Β , € 400 for categories C and D and € 600 for all other categories. These terms are not valid if damage was caused due to violation of Greek Traffic Laws.
6 Super Collision Damage Waiver:
for an additional € 8 per day for categories economy, Α , Β , and B1, € 10 per day for categories C and D, and € 12 per day for all other categories, the renter is totally exempt of any liability for damage to the car. This does not apply if the renter has violated Greek Traffic Laws or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. SCDW is payable locally.
7 Tyre and Undercarriage Insurance: Included in the Super CDW price and covers damage to the tyres and underside of the car. Driving with a flat tyre or on a non-asphalt road invalidates the insurance cover.
8 Passengers’ Insurance:
Included in the rental and covers the passengers in the event of death, partial or total disability, as well as care.
9 Accident Administrative Expenses: If the renter is responsible for the accident, a lump sum of € 20 is charged for administrative expenses.
10 Additional Driver: An additional driver is allowed in every car, as long as he/she is within the age limits and fulfills all the driver’s license conditions. Daily additional charge: € 2.
11 Gasoline: We use only unleaded gasoline, which is the responsibility of the renter. No refunds are given for excess fuel left in the vehicle. Refuelling service charge: € 10 plus.
12 Children’ s Seats: Provided upon reservation, with an additional charge of € 3 per day.
13 Luggage Racks & Snow Chains: Not provided.
14 Rental Car Brands & Models: All bookings are made by car category and not by car type or model. In every case, the company reserves the right to change the model or the type of the car, without prior warning.
15 Transport of Rental Car by Boat: It is forbidden to transport the car by boat without previously obtaining permission in writing from the company.
16 Taxes & VAT 19%: Included in the rental price.
17 Traffic Violations - Fines: All fines from illegal parking and violations of the traffic code that occur during the rental period, are the renter’s responsibility and will be charged to his credit card. |
